Cool Off with a Classic (Movie)

In addition to Movie Night @ the Library (our 6:30 PM shows on the 4th Tuesday of each month–Jumping the Broom on August 23rd), we’ll be showing a classic film on select Saturday afternoons this summer at the Main Library. We’re cool inside! Enjoy some of the best films of yesteryear (again) on the big screen.

Join us for these Saturday matinees at 1 PM:

Come to the main library plaza at 6 pm every Saturday beginning in June for free, all ages shows.

Dunkin Donuts is open during the event. 816 Pint & Slice sells pizza as well as beer/wine to attendees 21 & older. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and non-alcoholic beverages but we ask that you do not bring coolers.

Special Movie Showing for National Bike Month

May is National Bike Month. To celebrate, bike on down to the Main Library to view “The Flying Scotsman”. This film is based on the true story of Scottish cyclist Graeme Obree who broke the world one-hour record on a bike of his own revolutionary design, partly made out of sections of a washing machine. The story follows his life’s victories as well as his battles with bipolar disorder that caused him to have his title taken away.
